New Tech Community Inaugural Meeting – Boca Raton

by Murrayiz on October 22, 2009

There is so much going on in the Tech/Interactive/Social Media community in South Florida, and specifically in Palm Beach County.

Last night I attended the inaugural meeting of the New Tech Community organization. The organization was formed by Mark Laymon. He presented on personal branding, and John Studdard from Big Couch Media presented on his agency’s implementation of Open Atrium.

I’ve uploaded 2 videos, the second one is outtakes – they seem to be popular.

For the next NTC, why not consider holding it in directly in the FAU Student Union, taking the stage in the big area downstairs? Do it in league with FAU officialdom. Invite students and faculty in the computer science, journalism, business, and whatever else depts. The more the merrier.

Nice shots of the back of my head, by the way.

Hey Craig,

That’s a great idea. I’ll pass it on to Mark Laymon. And sorry about the back of head shots. Gotta sit behind me, I guess. :)

thx!
